That's my email to them, they never answered. Query: Dear Sir/Madame, I got my Xperia Z3 back roughly a week ago from you after a major repair and I'm really disappointed.
First of all when I sent my enquiry I asked if you deal with software issues as I knew what the problem was. Instead of answering my question I was told to send my device in for an inspection. You stated that it is a major motherboard problem which I doubt it was but I agreed to carry on with it. Instead of 48 hours it took almost a month to get it done, in actual fact I had to buy a phone to be able to carry on.
Never mind, I received my device after paying a 216 bill and this is when problems started again. First of all the volume down button wasn't working (which I have fixed before sending the device to you) but your repair team doesn't seem to think that it's an important bit of the phone. Never mind, I fixed it again. It wasn't a hard job as the backplate was peeling off anyway as you used some general double sided sticky tape to bodge it.
The proper glue pattern costs 2 on eBay which ensures that the phone is waterproof. The next problem I had to face was that the USB charging point has a connection problem and only works if I hold it in an angle. That's absolutely unacceptable after a repair that was more expensive than the phone itself. And on the top of it today the front panel started to peel off as well I guess it's down to your top quality genuine glue.
Now when I turn the phone on Orange demo pops up. My phone was unlocked before and although it still works with my 3 sim, I have bad feelings about having the main board of a dodgy hacked ex-Orange phone. The original problem (camera overheating) still exists, it works a bit longer than before, now it stays on for a minute and then switches off. It's because Android 6 is not optimised for the hardware and it would be perfect under Android 4.4.
I would like you to fix at least the USB charging issue and the peeling front panel free of charge (not to mention the original problem I had with the camera and overheating) as soon as possible as you caused more problems for 216 than I had before.
