My first call to Elite was met with a very polite but pushy man (Anton) who called me back whilst I was seeking further quotes. He was helpful and gave me a quote for ยฃ57 to replace my charging port on my very well looked after Galaxy Samsung 6 white phone.

(the fault with the charging port was not due to any misuse on my part but had always had slight problems when being plugged in to its own original charger). It should have gone back to Samsung under warrenty but they dismissed this as not being covered. I Called Anton back on his mobile number and was told I had to pay a deposit by credit card of ยฃ17.50 which I did over the phone. My phone went off to Elite via UPS and was fixed with a new charging port extremely quickly and returned back to me within 3 days.

I received an invoice via the log in website but it had not recognised that I had paid the ยฃ17.50 and that this was to be deducted from the balance due. Also at no time was I told that there would be VAT added making my bill ยฃ69. plus the ยฃ17.50. Great my phone came back quick I thought......

I would be definately recommending this company! I opened the packaging containing my phone to find the white paint under the glass facia peeled off and bubbling on both sides of the home key. In fact the back button did not respond every time I tried it out. I was absolutely gutted that anyone could attempt to fix a phone in perfect condition and return it in such a state and pay a total of ยฃ86.50 for the privilege.

I immediately called the company to vent my upset and anger. At no time was I told that I risked further damage to my phone whilst undergoing replacing of a charging port. I was met on the phone with quite a nice man called Andrew. I must say at no time was Andrew rude, angry on the phone......

only frustrated, I think with the incompetence of his colleagues. He was fairly sympathetic and requested that I sent in pictures of the damage they had caused to my phone and write my complaint on the dashboard. I was then told that to fix the facia they had damaged I would have to pay!!! I vented my outrage at this but then just told them to fix my phone and that I would not pay unless I could see evidence that it had been put back right again.

I then had to pay for the postage back to Elite (mobilephonerepairing.co.uk). Then the real trouble started! Prior to them sending back my phone I insisted that I was sent pictures of my phone before paying anything You would have thought I had asked them to pay for a trip to the moon! I was promised on numerous occasions my pictures of my phone at the same time I made the point that if they had done this in the first place I wouldn't have had to pay for it to go back to them again and neither would they have wasted time and their own money sending back to me in such a state in the first place.

I waited over a week for pictures to come back to me and in the end had to put so much pressure on the poor employee at the end of the phone. (Andrew claimed he could not take the pictures himself as he could not leave the desk because he was the only phone answerer and he didn't even have time for lunch or even to go to the bathroom. I've not counted up all the calls to them but I did make it clear that I recorded all calls to them. This I think made a difference to my case with them.

the numerous calls I made ran into about 30 to 40 calls. One Friday afternoon I called but got Jason on the phone who promised me the pictures in half an hour (after waiting over a week for them and getting no replies from the company) They did not come through but I had to wait another 2 hours they arrived. Very blurry! Seeing as this is a phone company I would have thought that the clarity I get from my pictures I would have expected the same back from them.

Having waited over 10 days for my phone to come back to me I just said send it back So I had to pay the second payment just to get it back only to be told it would be sent out the following Monday as UPS had just left. Monday came and there was me thinking I would get my phone back the next day...... Nope..... or Wednesday or Thursday.

I had to kick off yet again. I seriously thought that I had been set up by now. Anyhow I got my phone back on the Friday and it looks ok on the surface although I haven't completed putting it through it's full paces yet. I am breathing a deep sigh of relief I have got my phone fixed and returned to me ...

eventually but at what cost. The paying for their mistake peed me off and the cost of the stress and time in the chasing over the last month I can't put a price on but I think I may have just recovered from having had a rest over the last couple of days writing and calling Elite. Please don't use them!!!!! I I must say I actually feel sorry for Andrew as he only works there and he did try his best but was up against the rest of the *** attempting to fix phones who obviously have no idea whatsoever.

I just think I am lucky to get my phone back at all. Just beware and read reviews before you send your expensive piece of kit off to a company that can't even spell their own address right or spell check before they upload their information to their website.

Please note the company has changed it's name several times too. I hope this will be of help to some of you who choose to not do their homework about a company prior to sending off their precious phones etc.

Listen to this guys review it is spot on ! They did exactly the same to me.

Took around ยฃ30 off me and did absolutely no work for it. Then asked for more money off me to send my phone back absolute *** men. AVOID AVOID. Please read my review named...
