I sent my laptop for repair, told would be back to me within 48 hours. It was very slow and likely to be either memory or hard disk. I was asked to pay for the carriage and they would provide quote. They sent courier to collect and had it the next day. It took a further day for them to inform me, but a very curt message that it was hard disk and did I want it repaired and then they would give me a price. The price was £180+VAT - wow, I know I can buy a hard disk for less that £60. But ok, they need to make a profit, so I asked them to go ahead and paid. I got the lap top back on Friday evening - around 5 days later. It booted up and asked for a windows installation password. I did not have one, other than the one I use for restoring, I tried to enter this, but it did not work. I tried to call for support, but no answer - they do not work Saturday and Sunday. It was important for me to get this working, so I tried to install from my USB backup. However, this failed. Trying to reboot, gave no help, windows would not start. I could access C: but not get windows going. Monday came and I called many times, eventually I got an answer and told I would be called back - never happened. Tuesday I call again and finally got to someone who seemed to know anything. He simply said return it and we will have a look. He wanted me to pay, and I objected to this, since I really wanted someone to talk me through a way to get it work rather than just return. However, he insisted and said they would pay if it was faulty. Wednesday, so they call me and say all is fine. The system boots. It doesnt ask for a password. Well nice surprise, but then they had not loaded windows, and they would call me back. around 15' later I called and they said all working and would send me a video of it. Later I got the video and all looks good. So I ask for it to be returned. Here comes the catch, I have to pay for the return - as it was not faulty. Hmmm - why would I spend 3 days working on a laptop with no fault. I said I could have sent them a video to show them it not working, in the same way as they sent one to show working. Back and forth it went - they absolutely refused to return unless I paid the post! There is stands. No compromise, no acknowledgment that they could have been more helpful when it was with me. They will hold onto the laptop!! Even asked to meet me half way on this - no budge. Against there terms and conditions!! No exactly the sort of customer service you would expect in this day and age. Obviously have no interest in repeat customers. AVOID.
