After few days they demanded another 45 GBP for short cuircuit - which I am sure was not real (charging partly worked). I didn't had any other option as to pay in order to get my device back. When it arrived, same problem present, they eved don't bothered to open it, same problem as earlier. I wish I find this page earlier. Big fat warning: Do not send anything to EPAC!!! Sent my laptop in for repair and received no quotation or whatsoever, until I was able to contact them, they said my motherboard was faulty and attempted to charge £350-450. Acer UK informed me they do not support this 7 year old multi media lap top any more full stop. Lap top was dead (shorted capacitors) and Elite accepted this machine for repair. The laptop was a family laptop and went in for a cooling system repair, they subsequently found a HDD issue and changed it without informing me before hand. During the data transfer they lost 125Gb of data!!!!!! If I knew they would touch the HDD I would have advised them not to do anything until I backed up all the essential docs and pics.
